FAQ

Where are you located? Talāyee Fine Jewelry is based in San Francisco and is where our collection is crafted.

Where do you ship? Currently shipping to the US, Canada, Germany, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

How long does shipping take? For US based orders, orders are via USPS Priority shipping so once an item reaches the post-office, it will get to you within 2-5 days. Made to order jewelry will take 4-8 weeks to be crafted depending on the style. International orders have a choice of DHL or UPS as their shipping carrier.

What is your return policy? Due to each piece being made to order for you once you place the order, all orders are final sale. As this is a solo-run and small business, there is no capacity to manage returned inventory at this time. Exchanges will be handled on a case by case basis if you email hello.talayee@gmail.com within 5 days of item receipt.

Can you resize? Please reach out via email for sizing concerns.

Do you do custom orders? Yes! Please visit our “Custom Orders” page for more details

Do you offer gold plated or filled? Gold plated or filled jewelry is not offered. Talāyee represents slow and sustainable practices, and gold filled or plated jewelry is not a material that will last you a lifetime. We hope that all Talāyee jewelry has the opportunity to be treasured for generations.

Where are your stones sourced from? A small selection of partners that source and cut gems ethically from mines that work to support the communities around them and have little impact on the environment. If the gems are not newly mined, partners that source from dead-stock and vintage jewelry, so again there's little harm to the environment.

Where is your metal sourced from? We use certified recycled sterling silver and karat weight gold. In addition to that, we have introduced Fairmined 18k gold to a small portion of our collection, with plans to expand it across our entire assortment.

What is Fairmined Gold? Fairmined certification guarantees that the gold has been extracted in harmony with nature, human dignity, and sustainable development, contributing to the transformation of lives in these mining communities.
It is an assurance label that certifies gold is sourced from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations who meet world leading standards for responsible practices. You will see that there is a price difference between Fairmined and Recycled gold, and that is reflective of the wages that are returned back to the communities and to the artisanal miners that provide this material.
