Custom Sapphire Engagement Ring and Wedding Band Set

A client reached out to me letting me know that she had broken her antique engagement ring, and was interested in a more modern replacement. She was eyeing our one of a kind Kunzite Solitaire Ring, but wanted something with a more peach-toned gem.

I got right to sourcing the best gemstone options that are ideal for daily wear. When thinking about an alternative engagement ring, you want to pick a gemstone that falls as an 8 or higher on the Mohs Hardness Scale. This means that the gemstone is less prone to chipping or breaking from daily wear. Together, we landed on this gorgeous 1.19 carat Padparadscha toned peachy pink sapphire that is an 8mm by 6mm brilliant cut oval.

She wanted it set east west, simply in a 4-prong solitaire style, and she wanted to pair it back with our 14k gold Low-Tide band, which continues to be a customer favorite.
